I didn’t really imagine that I would end up running a small business. I should have seen it coming with the amount of shops I built as I was growing up.
When I decided that I would start this business I knew that making it as ethical and environmental was as important to me and making it creative and joyful and making a living out of it.
Our products have always been printed in England on recycled paper, and have always been packaged in biodegradable and compostable sleeves, made from corn starch. They are now also available sleeveless on request. All of our packaging is plastic-free so you can put it straight into your recycling bin or compost.
We use a local printer and keep transport distances to a minimum.
We believe that businesses have a responsibility to the environment and in 2023 we began planting a tree for every order placed.
We reuse, recycle, or compost all of the packaging that is delivered to us. Lots of it goes towards packaging our orders and making art works out of cardboard like the examples below:
